One Thing About Us Introverts Is… We’ll Totally Introvert Where Ever We Go.

We are who we are.

Because I launched my website yesterday, I held a celebration at a quaint spot in the East Village called, The Gray Mare. Despite the rainy NYC weather, introverts, ambiverts and extroverts came out to celebrate my new venture.

You guys rock.

Throughout the night I watched as introverts sat in the corner to themselves and the extroverts sat in crowds making what seemed to be the most riveting small talk conversations ever. I made it my personal duty to not only connect with everyone, but to connect an introvert to an extrovert.  It was important for me reduce the discomfort that some may have felt because they were in a room full of unfamiliar faces.

Mission accomplished.

By the end of the night, everyone mixed and mingled with comfort and familiarity. It was great to see!

Another observation I made was that the introverts definitely came, saw and left early; including me!  I left the extroverts and their adopted introverts to drink it up at the bar while I headed home.

We are who we are!

Check out some photos from the rest of the night.

Special thanks to our sponsors Lit Bklyn, Beads of Hope, Emi Valerio, JustFab and The Gray Mare.  Thank you Sabriy for the perfectly capturing the essence of the evening!
