A Little Bit of This, A Little Bit of That… New Orleans Edition (What I Wore)
Traveling internationally for my birthday has always been my personal gift to myself. Unfortunately Covid-19 shut that option down. On a whim, I decided to rally my homies and bring some Brooklyn flavor to New Orleans.
My crew and I booked a quaint little mansion right off of Bourbon street. I’m not too sure why I’d pick this location because it’s an introvert’s biggest nightmare. My senses and my spirit was overwhelmed by all of the music, people, and energies. Despite the overwhelming feelings of being on Bourbon Street, I had such an amazing time!
I didn’t make major plans during my stay. Food was a focal point, but I also wanted to indulge in the history of New Orleans. While I was there I paid a visit to the Voodoo Museum. I also picked up a set of tarot cards, and a few crystals. On my birthday, I scheduled a psychic reading at Earth Odyssey.
Now I’m almost positive ya’ll don’t care about what I did on my trip. Most of the comments on my Instagram were about my outfits!
To start, my girls and I decided to travel in matching ensembles.
It took us a while to settle on an outfit that we all liked. I got this two-piece from Amazon. You can purchase it from my Amazon Shop.
For my birthday brunch, I wore this floral number from Asos.
Last but not least…
I got this dope blazer dress from Kois Kloset.
If you shop any of these pieces, be sure to tag me! I want to see how you rocked it 🙂
